Security and Protection of Your Personal Data
We consider it our top priority to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data you provide and to protect it from unauthorized access. Therefore, we apply the utmost care and the latest security standards to ensure maximum protection of your personal data.
As a private company with customers in the European Union, we are subject to the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure that both we and our external service providers comply with data protection regulations.
Definitions
The legislator requires that personal data be processed lawfully, in good faith, and in a transparent manner for the data subject ("Lawfulness, Good Faith Processing, Transparency"). To ensure this, we inform you of the individual legal definitions that are also used in this privacy policy:
Personal Data
"Personal data" refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.
Processing
"Processing" means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
Restriction of Processing
"Restriction of processing" means marking stored personal data in order to limit its future processing.
Profiling
"Profiling" means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, particularly to analyze or predict aspects concerning that person's performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements.
Pseudonymization
"Pseudonymization" means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data cannot be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Filing System
"Filing system" means any structured set of personal data that is accessible according to specific criteria, whether centralized, decentralized, or organized in a functional or geographical manner.
Controller
"Controller" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data; where the purposes and means of processing are determined by Union law or the law of Member States, the controller or the specific criteria for its appointment may be provided for by Union law or the law of the Member States.
Processor
"Processor" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
Recipient
"Recipient" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body to whom personal data are disclosed, whether or not a third party. However, public authorities that may receive personal data in the context of a particular investigation under Union or Member State law are not considered recipients; the processing of such data by public authorities is governed by applicable data protection law in accordance with the purposes of the processing.
Third Party
"Third party" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor, and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or the processor, are authorized to process the personal data.
Consent
"Consent" of the data subject means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which they, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signify agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.
Lawfulness of Processing
Processing of personal data is lawful only if there is a legal basis for processing. Legal bases for processing may be, in particular, according to Article 6(1) a-f GDPR:
The data subject has consented to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject;
Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person;
Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, unless such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, particularly when the data subject is a child.

In such cases, you will generally need to provide additional personal data, which we will use to provide the respective service, and the previously mentioned principles for data processing apply.
(2) We may use external service providers for data processing. These providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly monitored.
(3) We may also pass on your personal data to third parties if actions such as contest participation, prize draws, contract conclusions, or similar services are offered by us in collaboration with partners. Further information will be provided when you provide your personal data or in the description of the offer below.
(4) If our service providers or partners are located in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the consequences of this in the description of the offer.
Purchase of Products

Newsletter
(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, in which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the consent declaration.
(2) For newsletter registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, we send an email to the provided email address, asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your data will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. Additionally, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, clarify any misuse of your personal data.
(3) The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing additional, specifically marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is Article 6(1) Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
(4) You can revoke your consent to the receipt of the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe. You can revoke this by sending an email to info@gogimedia.de or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint.
(5) We would like to point out that we analyze your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the emails we send contain web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. For the analysis, we link the data mentioned in § 3 with your email address and an individual ID. The data is collected exclusively in a pseudonymized form, meaning that the IDs are not linked to any other personal data, ensuring no direct personal reference. You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each email or by informing us through another contact method. The information will be stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, the data will be stored purely for statistical purposes and anonymized.
Children
Our services are primarily directed at adults. Persons under 18 years of age should not transmit personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
Rights of the Data Subject
(1) Withdrawal of Consent
If the processing of personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal at any time by contacting us.
(2) Right to Confirmation
You have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed. You can request this confirmation at any time using the contact details provided above.
(3) Right to Access
If personal data is being processed, you have the right to request information about the personal data and the following information:
the purposes of the processing;
the categories of personal data being processed;
the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed, especially recipients in third countries or international organizations;
if possible, the planned duration of the storage of personal data, or, if not possible, the criteria for determining this duration;
the existence of the right to rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing by the controller or the right to object to such processing;
the existence of the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
if the personal data was not obtained from the data subject, all available information about the source of the data;
the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, in accordance with Article 22 paragraphs 1 and 4 GDPR, and, at least in these cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the scope and intended effects of such processing on the data subject.
If personal data is transferred to a third country or an international organization, you have the right to be informed about the appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR in connection with the transfer.
We will provide a copy of the personal data being processed. For additional copies requested by the data subject, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. If the request is made electronically, the information will be provided in a commonly used electronic format unless specified otherwise. The right to obtain a copy as per paragraph 3 shall not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other individuals.
(4) Right to Rectification
You have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Considering the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data – including by means of a supplementary statement.
(5) Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
You have the right to request the immediate deletion of personal data concerning you, and we are obliged to delete personal data immediately if one of the following reasons applies:
The personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
The data subject withdraws consent on which the processing was based according to Article 6(1)(a) or Article 9(2)(a) GDPR, and there is no other legal ground for the processing.
The data subject objects to the processing under Article 21(1) GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing under Article 21(2) GDPR.
The personal data has been unlawfully processed.
The erasure of personal data is required to comply with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject.
The personal data has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services under Article 8(1) GDPR.
If the controller has made personal data public and is obligated to erase it under paragraph 1, the controller will take appropriate measures, including technical measures, to inform other controllers who are processing the personal data that the data subject has requested the erasure of all links to, or copies or replications of, that personal data.
The right to erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") does not apply if the processing is necessary:
for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;
for compliance with a legal obligation that requires processing under Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject, or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
for reasons of public interest in the area of public health under Article 9(2)(h) and (i) and Article 9(3) GDPR;
for archival purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes under Article 89(1) GDPR, where the right to erasure is likely to seriously impede or render impossible the achievement of the objectives of such processing; or
for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
(6) Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if one of the following applies:
The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.
The processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of its use instead.
The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data subject requires it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
The data subject has objected to processing under Article 21(1) GDPR, pending the verification of whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
If processing is restricted under the above conditions, the personal data – apart from storage – may only be processed with the data subject’s consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State.
(7) Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that:
the processing is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) or Article 9(2)(a) or on a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and
the processing is carried out by automated means.
In exercising the right to data portability, you have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible. The right to data portability does not affect the right to erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"). This right does not apply to processing which is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
(8) Right to Object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions. The controller will no longer process the personal data unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object to the processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes.
In connection with the use of information society services, you may exercise your right to object by automated means using technical specifications.
(9) Automated Individual Decision-Making, including Profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. This does not apply if the decision:
is necessary for entering into or performance of a contract between the data subject and the controller;
is authorized by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights and freedoms and legitimate interests; or
is based on the explicit consent of the data subject.
The controller will implement suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, including at least the right to obtain human intervention, express your point of view, and contest the decision.
You may exercise this right at any time by contacting the relevant controller.
(10) Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes this Regulation.
(11) Right to an Effective Judicial Remedy
Without prejudice to any available administrative or non-judicial remedy, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to an effective judicial remedy if you consider that your rights under this Regulation have been infringed as a result of processing of your personal data which does not comply with this Regulation.
